Since the early time, people tends to give a negative opinion to something that is out of his/her calculation. Fortunately, world is not only filled with people like that. There is some people around us who rather die trying than hearing a blank comment. Here`s the list of 11most failed forecastingin the world.

On October 26th, 1969. Margaret thatcher once said “It will be years not in my time before a woman will become Prime Minister”
One decade after she said it. She became first Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for 2 times in a row ( from 1979 to 1990).
2.Computers sale
In 1940s, A computer is a giant electronic gadget. Only view computers made that time and the production cost was so expensive so that it was impossible to be mass produced.
Thomas Watson, chairman of IBM, in 1943, said “I think there is a world market for maybe five computers.”
His statement is useless this moment and if he reborn today, I am sure he wont dare to count every number of computer in a university with his finger.
3.HIV virus
In the early 80s, AIDS was not considered as a threat of the world.
Dr. Peter Duesberg from U.C. Berkeley in 1988 said “That virus [HIV] is a pussycat”.
Well, he wont dare to repeat that opinion today. As a doctor, it will be so shamed to consider a virus that already killed 25.000.000 peoples in 2006 as a pussycat

A plane bigger than Boeing 247 was impossible in the head of one of Boeing 247 Engineer. Today, latest Airbus A380 can lift 853 people and can facilitated them with Sauna, restaurants and a duty free shop.Compare to Boeing 247 which only carried 10 peoples, sure it is too big to compare.
10.Smoking and Lung Cancer

11.Computer Memory
You may not believe this but Bill gates ,in 1981, said “640K ought to be enough for anybody.” It is funny to hear that again today if it comes out from the same mouth. Sorry Mr. Bill, but no one will buy your computer if you only put 640 kilobyte memory on it.
